Camposofía
A vital space for rural communities
Camposofía is a community space for alternative education that highlights and enhances the richness of our region in Utuado. It is a place that allows the integral development of children and their families, connecting them deeply to their natural, intellectual, social and cultural environment. Camposofía offers the community a program of learning, work, reflection, active participation and recreation, enriching the rural life.
Agriculture, along with mathematics and the natural, social and human sciences, occupies a central place in the curriculum, fostering meaningful learning that reflects the needs and life of the region. These subjects are complemented by visual arts, music, movement arts, fine crafts and vocational arts, building an experience that links academic knowledge with practical life.
Camposofía has a committed pedagogical team, formed by teachers who are dedicated to creating accessible and relevant learning spaces, offering our rural community essential tools for its integral and sustainable development, and generating growth opportunities for the entire community.

Vision: To be an actor in the transformation of education in Puerto Rico.
Camposofía is an alternative space inspired by Waldorf pedagogy, inclusive and accessible to families in rural areas. It fosters cultural and vocational activities, where agriculture, art and music coexist with science and humanities to create a relevant, enriching and healing education for the community -- guided by regenerative principles based on social equity, community and harmony with nature.
Support our work:
So we can continue to accompany our community of children and families, to expand services open to rural residents, to sustain jobs and upgrade compensation, to maintain our physical infrastructure and to build a region worthy of being inhabited and enjoyed.
